Winter has well and truly arrived and we're getting battered with wind, rain and even hail. It's such a shame to leave Autumn behind but to be honest, we're not too upset as we love this season's woolly scarves!
This year we've extended our best selling scarf collection and brought in some chunky, soft knits to keep you warm through the cold winter season.
From reds & blues to golds & silvers we've got something for everyone. New snoods for Christmas have been flying off the shelves and the PoM office girl's personal scarf collections have been growing considerably too!
Visit www.pom925.com to see what's new this Winter, we guarantee you'll find something gorgeous to snuggle up with!

Happy Halloween
I don't know about you but we love this time of year - we can finally put away our not very tanned body parts, dig out our favourite jumpers and look forward to a season of fun, dressing up and celebrating.
It’s also the time of year that allows you to explore your dark side, yes it’s nearly Halloween. All Hallows Eve is an ancient festival that honours the dead - but for most of us it’s a damn good excuse to dress up, be childish and scare ourselves witless with a good slasher movie. Here at PoM we are dedicated lovers of the horror genre, why only last week we had a 'gore off' at the pub, not surprisingly there are varying degrees of horror tolerance. Here are some of our recommendations for a good fright night...
Lily - Mine has to be The Others. I didn't expect it to end the way it did, the old lady at the end is the creepiest thing I’ve ever seen.
Heather - Saw, terrifying from beginning to end.
Emily - Not really scary but I do have a lot of affection for Poltergeist, its
got everything you need - annoying kids, horrific clowns and a new housing estate built on an ancient burial ground, sorted.
Lee - The Shining is one of my all time favourites, Jack Nicholson is perfect, it's edge of your seat stuff from start to finish.
Simon - Nosferatu, just the cover scares me and my son Casey won't watch it and he likes to think he's not afraid of any horror movie.
Pip - After pleading from my daughter I did watch Doctor Who, some of the characters in that freaked me out. The weeping angels and the Ood are creepy.
If you don't fancy any of those why not head along to the cinema to see the new macabre offering from the scarily haired Tim Burton.
Frankenweenie comes out on the 17th October and may be a good option for children...or adults who are easily spooked.
For the more traditional creep seeker Radio 4 is airing the daddy of all horror stories Dracula. It starts on Sunday the 14th October at a non threatening time of 3pm but still promises to be a spine chilling experience. Keep some garlic and a stake close at hand.
If you're going to a Halloween party but can't face making another boring Flapjack then why not take your host an unusual treat like a Tin of Mortal Terror or a jar of The Thickest Human Snot? We love the Hoxton Street Monster Supplies shop and their website offers delicious yet revolting goodies that would wipe the smile of most trick or treaters faces. Biscuiteers also have some delicious and less gruesomely named treats if Impacted Earwax isn't your thing.
We hope whatever you’re doing you have good clean terrifying fun but just don't have nightmares.

Banish Winter Blues
The blue skies have gone and been replaced with a grey that only the UK can muster. When the clouds, wind & rain arrive it's tempting to draw the curtains and hibernate...but this year we're fighting back with an abundance of colour that'll be sure to lift your spirits!
Colours can play an important part in our wellbeing and their influence upon our mood is widely recognised. Why not try a little self help this season by adding a burst of colour to banish winter blues?
Whether you're a Chromotherapy expert (Yes, there's a word for it!), or just find yourself drawn to a colour and can't put your finger on why, it's hard to argue with the power of colours and the effect they have on us. It's the reason supermarkets use certain colours to make us feel hungry and spas use others to calm us, so find your perfect colour and wear it with confidence, it could be doing you the world of good!
All scarves available exclusively to retailers from our wholesale website,

Fairytale fashion is capturing our imagination thanks to big screen releases such as 'Mirror Mirror' & 'Snow White & the Huntsman' and we love it. From sweet florals to nature inspired designs this collection is unashamedly feminine. This trend is already hitting headlines and is ideal with summer's floral dresses & jumpsuits.
